Beauty Haul 2 - Feelunique

Hello,

Today I wanted to share with you a couple of items I bought from Feelunique.com, before I went on holidays. I've been testing these products and I'll be reviewing them as soon as I have a proper opinion formed on them.

I've also purchased some products during their Sales period. I've already received a couple of them but I'm waiting for the rest to arrive to then do a joint haul.

To begin with, I bought a Spiezia Organics Muslin Flannel to compare with the ones I have from Liz Earle and the Primark face cloths recommended by Caroline Hirons herself.

Then I decided to pick the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil Free B.B. Cream in Light because here in Portugal I could only find it in the color Medium.

Since I was very curious to try the so raved about Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Kajal Eye Liner in Nude, I figured "why not now?" and to my basket it went.

Last but not least, I decided to grab another Real Techniques brush, this time the Stippling brush, to add to my collection.

Beauty Haul Part 2 - The Body Shop

As promised, here is my Body Shop Haul.

The other day I passed by the store and couldn't resist bringing some stuff with me. Their products just smell sooo good!

I didn't open most of the products yet because I am still to finish lots of other body products and don't want these to spoil in the meantime.

The first thing I picked was a scrub. I haven't tried any of the Body Shop ones and I am super curious about them. I love scrubs. However, I have to admit I am not the type of girl to use them daily. But at least once a week I do do some body scrubbing. In the summer time I try to do it more because it really helps with achieving a more even tan and that's the reason I bought this mango scrub in particular, because I think the mango scent will feel great after a day on the beach . 

It's a bit expensive for a scrub though (about 12 euros if I rember correctly).

I'll let you know what I think about it once I've tried it and if I think it's worth the money (I hope so!) 

My first Body Shop Scrub!

 Even though I am expecting the scrub to be moisturizing enough due to the mango seed oil in its constitution, I always like to follow my shower with a moisturizer, especially during summer when we wear shorts, skirts and dresses and want our legs to be in particularly good shape. So I decided to buy the body butter to use afterwards.

Did I make the right choice? Or should I have bought the lotion instead?

Last but not least since the oils had a 50%off discount I decided to pick one to try out. The lady at the store explained that this is a multi-purpose oil that you can use on your face, body and hair. In the brand's website they have tons of suggestions of how to use this product. If you are interested I can also do a post about it, just let me know.

Since I have The Body Shop's Cart I am entitled to a 10 euros voucher to spend on the store when I reach 4 purchases over 25euros. This time I hit that mark and was super excited because I got to bring home with me one (or better two) of my favourite Body Shop products: the lip butters. I would never have bought their lip butters otherwise because I think they are extremely overpriced but its I gift I always enjoy receiving. They are super moisturizing, smell and taste deliciously.

 I couldn't decide which one to choose so I picked both the mango and the coconut lip butters (they retail for 5 euros each here in Portugal).

Finally the lady at the counter was super nice and since I had never tried their skincare she gave me two samples of their seaweed line, for combination skin, : the mattifying day cream and the clarifying night treatment.

The night cream I have already had the chance to try even if not enough to tell you if I see a difference on my skin. 

It is fresh, clear gel. It  has a nice scent in the pot that reminds me of the sea and flowers. However after having applied it on my skin my hands smell like sea and fish but not in the best way. Is it just me? Am I going crazy?

Have you tried any of this two creams? Would you advise me to buy the full size version? And about other Body Shop products? Are there any that you think I should try?

Beauty Haul Part 1 - Sephora

Recently I did some shopping and thought it might be interesting to show you what I bought. Firstly I went to Sephora and then to The Body Shop. This post will be exclusively about my purchases at Sephora and tomorrow I will show you the goodies I got at The Body Shop.

I will review each of the products  individually on a later post, after I have properly tested them. In the meantime you can tell me if there is a specific product you are particularly interest in and I will post its review as soon as possible.

But now let's talk about the two products I bought at Sephora. I didn't really need more stuff but when I received a text message offering a 25% off discount if I bought 2 products, I couldn´t resist. Anyway it wasn't too bad for my bank account since the two things I chose, which I had been wanting for a really long time, were not pricey at all.

The first thing I new I wanted was the Sleek Oh So Special eyeshadow palette. I already own the Au naturel and the Snapshots palettes and love them to death. They are not at all expensive: they retail for 10 euros in Portugal, and if you take into consideration the amazing quality of the eyeshadows (their only downsize is that some of them can be a bit powdery) I think there are pretty cheap even. So when faced with the possibility of buying one more of these palettes for just 7,5euros (isn't it a bargain?) I couldn't resist.

I had been eying this palette specifically for quite some time. It seems to be the perfect match for the Au naturel one, having seven matte eyeshadows and 5 more glittery ones all in neutral, mostly rosy, tones whilst the Au naturel palette has more neutral browns and beiges. So I think they will be a fantastic combination for achieving a variety of natural everyday looks. 

The second thing I had to bring with me was the Sephora Collection Classic Foundation Brush (nº47). I own quite a few of Sephora's brushes and adore them. I don't think they are talked about enough. They are not cheap but they are extremely high quality (at least I haven't had any problems with mine) and I think they are worth the money even more if you have a 25% off discount over the original price (13 euros).

After having picked this to products my eyes were drawn to the Estée Lauder (my favourite cosmetics brand) and saw their new Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion. I have to admit I was this close to buying it but since my experience with the Advanced Night Repair eye cream wasn't the best I didn't want to risk it and just asked for a sample. I have to tell you, I don't think I will be able to restrain myself much longer before I cave in and buy it. I used it twice and have already noticed a difference.

At the checkout counter the lady there was kind enough to give a couple more samples that I am very curious about since I haven't tried anything from this brand yet. They're both from Biotherm: one from their Aquasource Nuit high density hydrating jelly and the other from the Aquasource Deep Serum.
